Full Day Class (6-7 hours)

In this hands-on lecture and sit-and-sew session, we will first make
the easiest quilt blocks possible. We will then explore different types
of sashing and borders, to make the finished quilt "uniquely yours".
Using reproducible handouts, you will learn to calculate sashing and
border yardage.

 Lazy Angle Sampler

Six Block Lazy Sampler

Full Day Class (6-7 hours)

During this class students will learn all about using the Lazy Angle™
ruler. You will start with simple, one-step Lazy Angle™ blocks, and
progress to three-step blocks. Use these six blocks to make a very
attractive wall hanging or add more Lazy Angle™ blocks to create a
bed-sized sampler quilt. No pattern fee. Lazy Angle™ rulers will be
available for use in class for anyone who does not already own one.
Books, patterns and rulers will be available for purchase if desired.

 Flying Geese Sampler

Six Blocks of Geese Sampler

Full Day Class (6-7 hours)

In this class, students will learn to use the Flying Geese x 4™ ruler.
They will be comfortable with all the different blocks this ruler will
allow them create... all with no math! As with the Lazy Angle™, the
six blocks make a very attractive wall hanging, or can be added to a
collection of other blocks to create a larger sampler quilt. No pattern
fee. Flying Geese x 4™ rulers will be available for use in class for
anyone who does not already own one. Books, patterns and rulers
will be available for purchase if desired.

Rulers Recommended (provided for class and available for purchase)

The pattern for this class uses two new techniques to create
"54-40 or Fight" and "Goose Chase" blocks to make a gorgeous
wall hanging, throw or queen size quilt. Your quilt can be made
in two colors, or scrappy with five or more coordinating darks and
one neutral light. The results are stunning! Flying Geese x 4™
and Lazy Angle™ rulers, which will be available for purchase in
the class, are a definite plus but not required.

Full Day Class (6-7 hours)

Flying Geese x 4™ Ruler Recommended (but not required)

Learn the techniques from the Flying Geese x 4™ ruler to piece a
gaggle of flying geese in no time! A baker's dozen of fat quarters are

great quilt. We will also try out other geese possibilities that use
the Flying Geese X4™ ruler.

Full Day Class (6-7 hours)

Pattern Required
Flying Geese x 4™ Ruler Recommended (but not required)

Quarter Square Goose - what's a Quarter Square Goose? Make this
simple table runner using the Flying Geese x 4™ no math ruler. You
will discover a secondary design (quarter square geese) every time
you make these geese. You will make size changes with ease - all
with no math. The pattern also includes instructions for placemats.

 Sassy Bag (click to enlarge)

The Sassy Bag

Half Day Class (3-4 hours)

Pattern Required

Three coordinating fat quarters of fabric are all you will need to create
this wonderful bag. It has an expanding front pouch, inside pockets,
a back pocket, Velcro™ closure, and plenty of room on the flap for
your choice of embellishments.

 Katy Bags (click to enlarge)

The Runaround Bag & The Katy Bag

Half Day Class (3-4 hours)

Two Patterns Required

The Runaround Bag uses two fat quarters and an easy zipper technique
(yes - easy and zipper in the same sentence!) that make this bag quick
as a wink. The Katy Bag is a pocket on a string (or with a handle). You
will want to make several to go with those slacks, skirts and shorts that
don't have pockets.
